The Kossman Development Company was founded by Paul Kossman in the late 1950s.  The company’s first project was the design and construction of a 20,000-square foot office building in a suburb of Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania, known as Green Tree.  This project was the start of the first suburban office complex built in the Pittsburgh area now known as Parkway Center.

Kossman is one of Western Pennsylvania’s largest commercial real estate developers.  We are a leader in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania, real estate development with interests throughout the Midwest and Southwest.

Kossman Development designs, develops, owns, and manages retail, office, apartments/residential, hotels, and assisted living facilities.

Total holdings include more than 3 million square feet of developed property.  Kossman Development Company also owns several parcels of land that have been “land banked” for the purpose of future development.

In addition to Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania, Kossman designs, develops, owns, and manages properties in Arizona, Indiana, Ohio, and Texas.
